There is a plumber here today to fix (hopefully for the last and final time) the plumbing issue with our flooding/stopped-up washing machine. The plumber is working in the midst of tools, pipes, glue, hand-saws, drills, etc. and he is still in SOCKS! The policy in this country is so STRICT about taking off your shoes when entering the house, there is NO EXCEPTION!
Mark was just commenting how awkward he feels that he is wearing his shoes in the house right now. Even if it’s in your own house you feel like you are breaking the rules … hilarious!
